ABSTRACT
In the paper the necessity of creation of favourable conditions for innovative activities in high technologies sectors in Bulgaria - chemistry, biotechnology, information technologies, microelectronics, etc., is argued. A concept of innovative infrastructure is introduced. which according to the author comprises the following elements: venture capital funds; technological centres, technological parks and business incubators; education system; information systems with data base for the latest achievements both in science and technics; legislation for the innovative activities. The extent of completion of each of these elements is analysed, the existing problems and difficulties are clarified, concrete recommendations that would have contributed the acceleration of building-up process of innovation infrastructure in Bulgaria are discussed. The existing unevenness in the extent of completion of different elements is underlined, and the necessity to build up innovation infrastructure adequate to the existing in EU countries is emphasised.

ABSTRACT
In the article are shown the results of training and consultation in the urea of Innovation Management Improvement in "Biovet"JSC' Pestera. A SWOT analysis of R&D department is realized and the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats are demonstrated. The syste motivation of management is taken as a leading factor for improvement of R&D. In that connection a model of management svstematization, as well as concrete recommendations are suggested. For the aim of better coordination between R&D department. accounting department and marketing department a mechanism of group cross-functional interactions is suggested too.
For enhancing the motivation for innovation and overcoming the existing status-differentiated leveling a system for formal performance evaluation and compensations according the results of tin' individual performance are suggested. The hope is that all these will enhance the efficiency of R&D and will improve the competitiveness of "Biovet" JSC-Pesteru.
