There are numerous facts from the contemporary Bulgarian reality, which indicate that there is still a need for justification and explanation of the necessity of drawing special attention and effort to the training of teachers for the vocational school of the 21st century. First and foremost the training of teachers for the schools of engineering is not the objective of real management on the part of the state. In the same time, a number of other factors accountable for the future development of professional education have been badly researched. It is obvious that the world is going to invest generously in teachers in the 21st century. This is the global trend to which our country will be inevitably drawn. In this paper we are clarifying some problems in this sphere.

The students at UCTM come from the high school without established sport abilities in general or in particular. Their hygiene habits also do not fit the needed level. Most of them do not wear appropriate outfits during sports activities. Some wear one and the same clothes during sports and during other classes. We stress on such kind of details because they have a certain influence on a person being satisfied with the sports activity. The physical productivity of the young people can be raised by controlling the details mentioned above.
We think that the young people at the University should be taught appropriate habits for practicing sports. In the future these young people will teach their children the same useful habits.
The current research has been held during the 2001/2002 school year with students at the UCTM who participated in the groups for football training. During 30 trainings for the two semesters of the school year 120 boys have been researched. The classes have been structured according to the demands of the theory and methodology of sports training - they consisted of preparatory, basic and concluding part.
From the experiment held we judge that the football game helps improving the physical productivity of the students at UCTM. This will contribute to higher productivity in the studying process and help developing personality and society.
